A documentary produced by the Information Center (Hasbara) in collaboration with the World Zionist Organization in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of Kvutzat Kinneret, the kibbutz established on the shores of the Sea of Galilee by members of the Second Aliyah led by Ben-Zion Israeli in 1913. The film captures everyday moments of life in the kibbutz, and features an interview with Haya Israeli, one of the thirteen founders who founded the kibbutz fifty years ago. Famous landmarks are featured such as the Kinneret Cemetery where Rachel the Poetess, Ben-Zion Israeli and Berl Katznelson are buried, and the historic Motor House, which was the first water pumping station of the Yishuv in Eretz Yisrael-Palestine. The film presents the daily routine and labor of the kibbutz members, as well as excerpts from a festive rally, in which a performance is staged on the occasion of Kvutzat Kinneret’s jubilee celebrations.
