A short documentary produced by Keren Hayesod about Tel Aviv.
American journalist Quentin Reynolds goes on a six day visit to the Pepperman family (Kurt, Leah, and Danny) in Tel Aviv. In his travelogue, Reynolds favorably describes the Jewish city: normalcy and modernity is the principal theme, as the film shows scenes of the city’s port, beaches, boulevards, industrial plants, and zoo. The narrative contrasts the cheerful lives of the Jews in Tel Aviv with the tragic fate of their brothers in Europe.
