Everyone in Israel desires peace, yet it remains an elusive goal. But how can we bring it?
The film follows several characters, each with their own worldview on life in Israel, the Jewish-Arab conflict, and how to achieve peace. It raises questions about religion and state, morality, national belonging, and more.
The new immigrant from Iraq, Giora, believes Israel belongs to Jews only. Social activist Ran, on the other hand, believes in reaching a political settlement and establishing a Palestinian state. The settler from Gush Emunim, Benny, believes that the Jewish people have a right to the entire Land of Israel. Meanwhile, writer A.B. Yehoshua ponders the moral implications of these different opinions.
