An episode of the children’s television show Danidina, produced by the Israel Film Service in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Education, and the National Council for the Prevention of Road Accidents, and aimed to educate children about road traffic safety. The plot centers around siblings Dani and Dina as they learn about road safety while going about their daily routine in their neighborhood and with their friends.
In this episode, Dina gets a new bicycle and so does Yossi, Dani’s best friend. Dani asks his parents for a bicycle, but they refuse. Dani takes Yossi’s bike to ride to the library, but as he rides, he suddenly veers to the middle of the lane, a car behind him brakes and Dani falls off his bike and hurts his leg. Back home as he is recovering from his injury, Dani receives a new bicycle from his parents as a gift for his birthday.
