An excerpt from a film produced by the Israeli Film Service, which examines three development towns in Israel, Dimona, Beit Shean and Mitzpe Ramon. The film depicts the problems which face the communities, the level of the education systems and the various employment opportunities. The following clip reviews the factories and industry in Dimona and the employment opportunities in the town, especially in the textile industry in the Kitan and Sivey Dimona factories, and the Friction Materials factory, which manufactures brake pads and metals, whose owner decided to relocate the factory from central Israel to Dimona (director and script: Shimon Tesler, cinematography: Ilan Rosenberg, editor: Jean-Claude Aviv, producer: Yigal Ephrati).
