An excerpt from Please Answer My Letter, a propaganda film produced by Histadrut to persuade the global public opinion in favor of Israels actions in the Suez Crisis.
With his hand bandaged, David Friedmann, the driver of Eggeds 361 bus from Tel Aviv to Eilat, explains how he survived a fedayeen terror attack on the bus in August 1956: more than 25 terrorists fired at us. Most of the bullets hit the drivers cabin. I got hit in my left hand, but managed to speed away. Four Israelis were killed in the attack.
