The film A Day of Goodness which was produced by the Nehora Institute in collaboration with the Council for Shabbat, describing preparations and anticipation towards Shabbat in Israel at home and in public, in the city and in the village. Narrator Amikam Gurevitz accompanies a housewifes preparations for Shabbat starting on Friday morning, which includes cooking the Shabbat meal and cleaning the house, along sights of busy streets nearing Shabbat time. Shabbat life is depicted according to the paintings of the artist Moritz Oppenheim.
