The film follows the assistance given by the Histadrut to young residents of the development town Yeruham: a Histadrut executive committee member mediates an agreement in a Negev Ceramics factory labor dispute; Histadrut’s NA’AMAT organization operates a daycare for Yeruham’s toddlers; the Yeruham Workers’ Council organizes a cleaning campaign, conducted by the town’s children; the Workers’ Council is further involved in the building of a supermarket in Yeruham; youth dance in a party and converse with Histadrut officials about unemployment issues of discharged soldiers; Histadrut’s HaDor HaTza’ir officials discuss the problems of residents of Yeruham, Dimona, Ashkelon, and Yavne; a representative of Histadrut’s Central Union for Cooperative Initiative promises assistance to young entrepreneurs that want to establish a park at Yeruham lake. The film also documents the work of the glass factory Phoenicia and a match of Hapoel Yerucham soccer team.
