A film produced by the Hasbarah Authority. The Valley of Timna, near Eilat, produced copper already in the iron age. The film presents the modern mine and the adt of mining. Once copper was excavated, it is refined using sulphuric acid, then treated with iron. Workers enjoy a short break before the metal is loaded on to trucks that carry it to the harbour and the world beyond.
