The second Sea of Galilee crossing competition. A crowd gathers on Ein Gev Beach, and the swimmers prepare for the competition by putting in eye drops and rubbing their bodies with oil. The swimmers jump into the water from small boats and the race begins. The boats accompany the swimmers en route to Tiberias. A map showing the nine kilometers distance between Ein Gev and Tiberias. The judges examine the swimmers from a motorboat. Another boat divides food for swimmers during the race. A large crowd gathers at the port of Tiberias to wait for the swimmers. The audience applauds the winner Shmuel Hadash and the first woman to reach the finish line Aliza Wirtz.
