Inauguration of two new streets in Ashdod. One street is named after American industrialist and philanthropist Israel Rogosin. The second street is named after the American Zionist organization Bnai Brith. Hundreds of Ashdod residents gather for the ceremony, including many children. Israel Rogosin delivers a speech followed by Labor Minister Mordechai Namir. The wife of Israel Rogosin, Evelyn Rogosin, cuts the ceremonial ribbon at the entrance to Rogosin Street. Children read a greeting and hand flower bouquets to Evelyn Rogosin. Mordechai Namir cuts the ceremonial ribbon at the entrance to Bnai Brith Street.
