A delegation walks to an El Al airplane at the Orly Airport in Paris, including David Ben Gurion. A large crowd waits on the sidewalks of Champs Elysees for the arrival of Chief of Staff Dayan and his delegation, in honor of receiving the French Legion Medal from the French Army. The delegation is accompanied by military attaché in Paris, Colonel Shimon Sirkin. Dayan lays a wreath on behalf the IDF on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A large crowd, photographers and a military orchestra are present. A military parade on Ben Yehuda street in Tel Aviv, including a tank convoy. Dayan is received in Paris by French Defense Minister General Pierre Koenig and Chief of Staff General Augustin Guillaume. A convey of cars in Paris by the Concorde Square. A ceremony honoring Dayan with the French Legion Megal in the courtyard of the Hotel des Invalides. An honor guard is present. Dayan exchanges handshakes with French Generals.
