The first cotton harvest in Israel in Nir Am, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture. Workers pick cotton from the bushes and collect it in canvas sacks. A group of workers walks in the field carrying large sacks. A worker arrives at the place where the cotton is gathered, carrying a sack that is tied to his waist. Another worker unties the sack and empties it onto the cotton pile, from which the cotton is re-packed in large sacks.
