The Soviet Union severs its diplomatic ties with Israel following the attack on the Soviet legation in Tel Aviv. Presentation of the path terrorists took to the attack and a view of the legation building after the explosion. Archive materials from the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Soviet delegate, Pawel Yarashov, presents the charter and handshakes with Moshe Sharett. Yershov participating in a forest planting ceremony in honor of the Soviet army in the Jerusalem hills. The last ceremony in which Yershov took part at a reception for President Yitzhak Ben Zvi.
