The Tehran Children Arrive in Palestine

The children of Tehran, a group of hundreds of children who were transferred from Poland to Tehran and from there to Port Said in Egypt, arrive in Palestine by train. The train stops temporarily at the train stations in Rehovot and Hadera, where hundreds of people wait for the children and wave to them. Finally, the train arrives at the last station in Atlit where a festive reception is held. Adults and schoolchildren carrying flowers, flags, and signs welcome the kids. The children get off the train, nurses and Magen David Adom members carry the sick and small children in their arms. A policeman talking to a group of children. The children are taken by bus to their temporary residence.
