First Arrival of S.S. Egytto and S.S. Polonia to the Tel Aviv Port

A crowd is waiting for the newcomers behind the port gates. A policeman is allowing those who have passes to enter the port. British and Jewish Agency passport control. Passengers leaving the ship and boarding boats on their way to shore, then docking and leaving the boats. Children are helped ashore. Boats en route from the ship to shore. Those holding permits enter the port to meet the arriving passengers. A ship and boats ferrying passengers ashore. A group of journalists covering the event. The High Commissioner, Sir Arthur Wauchope, Tel Aviv Mayor Israel Rokach, and other dignitaries and customs officials getting into boats, and later reach the ship and go aboard. Boats with passengers from the ship are docking. Policemen at the gate. The S.S. Polonia, decorated with flags. Immigrants in a boat wave to those on shore, arrive at the dock and are helped ashore. The arrivals hall. An Orthodox priest is among the receptionists. Baggage is cleared at the customs and loaded on a car. The ship from afar and passengers on a boat.
