A ceremony for laying the cornerstone for a housing project that will be built in the Big Territory, Jaffa. The ceremony opens with the speech by Mayor Haim Levanon, describing the goal of the project: providing housing for thousands of residents and creating gardens. The area is shown, including its buildings, streets and the existing vegetation. Levanon also refers to the evacuation of the Caucasus neighborhood in Tel Aviv , in favour of residing in the new housing projects in Yad Eliyahu and Hatikva Quarter. The audience applauds, and Levanon lays the cornerstone. A model of the buildings that will be built on the land is shown.
