A documentary produced by the Israeli Film Service for ZDF, the second German television network. “It will be good, it will not be good,” expresses a new immigrant from Ethiopia, who, despite the language barriers and the challenges of settling in the country, still holds some hope. The two-year follow-up reveals the difficulties, hopes, disappointments, and intercultural encounter between Ethiopian immigrants and those from the former Soviet Union living temporarily together in a caravan site in Hatzor. This is a meeting of cultures, foreign to one another, living under conditions of social pressure, disconnection from their roots, and alienation from Israeli society.
