This documentary movie was produced by Hazel Greenwald for the Hadassah organization. The movie follows the visit of famous women to Israel and Youth Aliyah institutions around its 25th anniversary. The movie shows Queen Elizabeth of Belgium visiting Ben Shemen Youth Aliyah village as she is guided by Israel’s president’s wife, Rachel Ben Zvi and the head of Youth Aliyah, Moshe Kol, while the children are waving Belgium and Israeli flags. Eleanor Roosevelt, former best lady, spoke at the inauguration of a building that was named after her in the city of Be’er Sheva. The actor Millie Perkins who played Anne Frank in the movie “The Diary of a Young Girl” , who also came to visit the Youth Aliyah children, said “Anyone of them might have been another Anne Frank had it not been for the rescue work of Youth Aliyah”. Through these visits, the movie shows the children doing farm work, getting professional training in carpentry and fishing and dancing joyfully.
