Fundraising broadcast on behalf of the National Fund for Israel.
The film shows the settlement on the lands of Wadi al-Hawarith, after Yehoshua Hankin purchased them. It follows several settlements and kibbutzim established in the region, presenting their success in construction and agriculture thanks to the shared efforts of Keren Hayesod and the National Fund for Israel. Finally, the film turns to the viewer, asking for continued support of the fund, which, by purchasing the lands, redeemed them—transforming a dry wasteland into fertile, inhabited land.
