A short historical film in French produced by Keren Hayesod. The film showcases the breakthrough years of the Zionist project, starting with the first Zionist Congress in Basel in 1897 until the mass immigration to Israel in the early 1950s. The film includes a chronological overview of turning points in the history of the Zionist movement, such as the Second Aliyah, the Balfour Declaration, the publication of the White Paper of 1939, the establishment of Tower and Stockade villages, the Holocaust, the Partition Plan of 1947 and the Israeli War of Independence. The film presents hundreds of original photos depicting historical events and key figures who played pivotal roles in fulfilling the Zionist dream.
