A documentary produced by the Israel Film Service.
In 1993, the Oslo Accords were signed between Israelis and Palestinians, aiming to bring peace.
The film reviews the atmosphere on Jerusalem Streets after the signing, between the years 1994-1997. It examines various neighborhoods in western and eastern Jerusalem, including Abu Tor, Talbiya, and Mea Shearim, and presents various opinions and feelings, of both Jews and Arabs:
From the Israeli side, it presents people’s feelings about the agreements, the split created among Jewish society due to the agreements, the demonstrations against the government in Zion Square, the reactions to the murder of Yitzhak Rabin, and the ongoing terror attacks.
From the Palestinian side, it shows the daily routine and challenges faced by people living under Israeli jurisdiction, and their first steps towards independence.
Photographer Alex Levac is also being feat
ured, while trying to document the events through still images.
