Kushnir’s Guide to Vacationing in Israel, a road map for the family with a comedic emphasis, is a series produced by the Israel Film Service in 2002 under the direction of actor and comedian Avi Kushnir. Each episode is set in a different country and deals with nature, history, cuisine, culture, and extreme sports for beginners.
This chapter focuses on the Negev Mountain region. It includes bedouin-style touring, riding on camels, a visit to the Hill of Inscriptions, a 55,000-year-old archaeological site, a desert meal, desert archery, a Visit to the Nabatean city of Shveta, a cross-country trip in buggy cars in Makhtes Ramon, and handling Tibetan bowls and bells, with Anna Lev Or.
