Mira Recanati’s 1975 documentary offers a glimpse at the lives of an immigrant family who lives in a rundown building in Manshia; a neighbourhood in the outskirts of Tel Aviv. The derelict building was restored some years later, despite fierce opposition, and went on to become the Etzel Museum.
