Hans and Ilana, one of the founding retailers of Tel Aviv’s iconic Sheinkin high street decided to leave Tel Aviv and move to the small rural community of Pardes Hanna-Karkur. They reopen a new shop and raise their children in a place that offers an abundance of peace, quiet, and lots of freedom. This is the little story of a father, mother, two daughters and a son, and the relationship between parents and their children. When it comes to freedom and right and wrong, when does one cross that fine line between them? What are a family’s unwritten rules? And how are the roles divided between members of the household?
