“Friday, at the town square: multiple stories all converge at the square like streams, and amidst the vortex of narratives, one can hardly make out any of the details.” Zion Square, the spot where Ben Yehuda St., Jaffa Rd., and the neighbourhood of Nahalat Shiv’a all intersect, was once the thriving, beating heart of Jerusalem. A place where multiple life stories come together to form a patchwork of life stories, whilst exposing tensions between old and new, Israeli and Palestinian, and fiction and reality.
