A young man visits his father in a care home. Their encounter brings back the man’s childhood memory of their initial goodbye. With just a handful of scenes, Daniel Wachsmann paints a portrait of a fractured, interrupted relationship between father and son. Nonverbal and with spectacular camerawork by cinematographer Daniel Schneor, Wachsmann already proves here, in his debut film, what a force to be reckoned he is when it comes to crafting atmosphere and suspense between his protagonists.
