The daily life of a young couple is upended when a mysterious stranger enters their lives. This is director, Joseph Pitchhadze’s graduation project at Tel Aviv University’s Department of Film and Television Studies. The film boasts a range of storytelling and stylistic elements that would recur and further develop in Pitchhadze’s later, feature-length works: the sense of alienation, the tension between the real and the grotesque, the lyrical atmosphere, and the immaculately put together frames.
