Director Hagit Ash Hershtik’s short follows the story of Erna Kobus, a Greek Jew who immigrated to Israel on her own during the 1967 Six-Day War, found religion, and moved to the settlement of Ofra. Following the Oslo Accords, Kobus who had been staunchly against handing Jericho over to the Palestinians, travels to a miliary base near Jericho (Camp Nevo) where she then opens an eco-farm. Kobus starts taking Israelis on tours of Jericho’s holy sites and dreams of eventually making the place her home.
