Fitch is a welder who, in honour of his girlfriend, Malka’s birthday, decides to tattoo her name on his shoulder. He shows up at her place, sporting his brand new tattoo, only to find her in the arms of another. That night, Fitch decides to drink his sorrows away and whilst on his bender, he meets a girl whose name is also Malka and decides to try and convince her, with the help of his tattoo, that their encounter is in fact kismet. The film won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Television Drama, and the top prize at the Munich Festival.
