Shai Avivi is an actor, comedian, and television personality. Avivi first became a household name in the early 1990s as one of the first TV presenters on the country’s then-new Children’s Channel and later, when he joined the cast of the now-iconic TV satire programme, The Cameric Five. In 1996, he appeared in the episode ‘Skin Deep’ of Etgar Keret and Ran Tal’s mini-series, Short Stories about Love and in 2000, starred in the critically-acclaimed hit series, The Bourgeoisie. Later, Avivi was made Head of Content for Israel’s Channel 10 and went on to appear in countless films and TV series including Sweet Mud (Dror Shaul, 2006), Atomic Falafel (Dror Shaul, 2015), One Week and a Day (Assaf Polonsky, 2016), and Longing (Savi Gabizon, 2017).
