One year since the Kafr Qasim Massacre, a Sulh (reconciliation ceremony) is held between the villages residents and representative of the Israeli government. On his arrival to the village, Police Minister Bechor Shalom Sheetrit shakes hands with Knesset Member Faras Hamdan. The Jewish representatives and the residents sit together in a tent and listen to speeches by Dean of the Guards Avraham Shapira, who chaired the committee that dealt with compensations for the massacres victims, and an Arab speaker.
