The new US ambassador to Israel, Walworth Barbour, arrives at the Presidents Residence to hand over his letter of credence to President Yitzhak Ben-Zvi. Outside the residence, the Ambassador reviews a guard of honor. He then enters the residence and hands the President his letter of credence. Alongside President Ben-Zvi are seen Foreign Minister Golda Meir, the military secretary of the President, Yosef Carmel, the head of the ceremony at the Foreign Ministry, Avraham Gilboa, and senior officials of the Foreign Ministry and the Presidents Office.
