The Israeli Clay Pigeon Shooting Championship takes place in Givat Olga in Hadera, with 180 competitors participating. The competition is held in memory of the Eliyahu Golomb and under the auspices of the Minister of Police Bechor Shalom Sheetrit. Competitors shoot at clay pigeons from shooting stations. At the end of the competition, Sheetrit awards a trophy to the winner Dov Ben Dov. Golombs widow, Ada, gives a prize to winners of the group heat. Sheetrits wife awards a prize to a 10-year-old contestant.
