Currently at the airport in Lod, the EL AL plane and its passengers who were attacked at Munich Airport, are now returning to Israel. The passengers are accepted at Lod Airport and interviewed for the press. During the attack on the El Al plane, Israeli Aryeh Katzenstein was killed, as he laid on the grenade thrown at him, thus preventing further passengers from being injured. Eight passengers were injured in the attack, including actress Hanna Maron, who was severely injured in the incident and her leg had to be amputated. The aircraft captain Uriel Cohen tried to neutralize one of the attackers and was injured as a result.
