Prime Minister Levi Eshkol goes on an official visit to the United States. He lands in New York and holds a press conference. Eshkols convoy drives him to the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York, where he meets with Secretary-General U Thant. American Jewish residents greet Eshkol at an airport in Texas, where he speaks the press together with President of the United States Lyndon B. Johnson. From there, the two leaders depart to the Johnson Farm, where they converse.
