A new law proposes that students and graduates of medical school be required to work in development towns in the periphery where there is a severe shortage of doctors, especially in the Negev. Only a few doctors work in the periphery causing work overload on doctors, long waiting time for patients, and therefore doctors leave their jobs due to stress.
