27 Skeletons Identified as Masadas Warriors Remains Buried After Military Funeral

In a procession at the foot of Masada, soldiers carry coffins of 27 skeletons that were uncovered at the mount and were recognized by the government as remains of Jewish rebels that made a stronghold there. Chief Military Rabbi Major General Shlomo Goren and leader of the archeological excavations at Masada Professor Yigael Yadin address the attendees, and the remains are buried near the mount.
