The exhibition Treasures of Bordeaux Museums opens at the Helena Rubinstein House in Tel Aviv. 125 paintings by the most prominent painters of the 15th to 19th century will be presented to the Israeli public. The paintings belong to the two largest museums in Bordeaux, France. The exhibition is insured for 15 million Israeli Pounds, and a guard will be placed in the museum around the clock. Among the well-known paintings in the exhibition are the work of Eugène Delacroix Lion Hunt from 1855, as well as a work attributed to Titian, and works by Rubens, Pieter Bruegel the Elder and Pieter Brueghel the Younger. Museum director Dr. Haim Gamzou is seen speaking with the museums workers at the exhibition space with a lit cigarette in his hand.
