Military police, policemen and policewomen are standing on the stairs of the Knesset building in Tel Aviv. Dignitaries and government officials go into the building. David Ben Gurion climbs up the stairs. Dr. Chaim Weizmann gets out of a car. Yosef Shprinzak, chairman of the State Council, gives a speech, followed by a speech by David Ben Gurion/ The audience applauds. The first American Ambassador James McDonald and the Soviet Ambassador, Pavel Yershov, are also present at the event.
