Through an interview with the Holocaust survivor author, and excerpts from her books – acted out by actresses Miriam Gavrieli and Avishag Rabiner, Akavia’s testimonial comes to life. The film chronicles her personal story – from her childhood, through the Nazi camps, and all the way to present day when the film is set – and turns a spotlight onto her sources of inspiration
