Raphael Nussbaum (1931-1993) was a German-Jewish director who directed action and adventure thrillers Burning Sands (aka Brennender Sand) (1960) and Sinai Commandos: The Story of the Six-Day War (1968) in Israel. Highlights of his other directorial credits include Der Unsichtbare (aka The Invisible Terror) (1963), Pets (1973), and The Amorous Adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza (1976).
