Danny Steg is a theatre and film actor who has been acting on stages since his teenage years. In the 1990s, Steg started appearing in a variety of TV shows and films. His TV credits include, among others, Inyan shel Zman (‘a matter of time’), and Shevet Cohen (‘the Cohen clan’), written by father and son duo (and future parliamentarians), Tommy and Yair Lapid. Some of his early film credits include Driks’ Brother (Ori Inbar and Doron Tsabari, 1994), and Shuly’s Fiancé (Doron Tsabari, 1997), the latter of which was part of the miniseries, Short Stories about Love. Steg’s major break, however, came when he landed the role of Elli in the hit TV series, Hafuch (1996-1998). He later also appeared in the films Vulcan Junction (Eran Riklis), Tzur Hadassim (Gideon Kolirin, 1999), Avanim (‘stones’) (Raphaël Nadjari, 2004), Someone to Run with (Oded Davidoff, 2006), It all Begins at Sea (Eitan Green, 2008), The World is Funny (Shemi Zarhin, 2012), and Indoors (Eitan Green, 2016).
