A short documentary, produced by Israfilm LTD, about the Israeli Air Force.
While the rest of its comrades in arms lie in junkyards or use as memorials, one black Spitfire aircraft, which served in the War of Independence, still flies in Israel’s skies. The “Spit”‘s pilot, retired IAF Major General Ezer Weizman, and other key figures in the Force’s history, talk in this film about the development of aviation in Israel: from the first aero clubs to the establishment of the Air Force and purchase of modern aircraft.
