A film documenting the immigration experience of three families of new immigrants who arrived to Israel in the early 1970s, and offers a candid look at the complexity of the immigration and integration process. The film follows the families at two different time frames, first upon arriving to Israel, and four years later, and examines the integration experiences of the new immigrants. The Mandelewitz family immigrated from Odessa and lives in Rishon LeZion, the Brahmi family immigrated from France and lives in Ra’anana, and the Sissler family immigrated from Uruguay. The films director, Vladimir Mogilevsky, a new immigrant himself, poses the questions to the interviewees and to himself, regarding the complexity of the integration process for immigrants in Israel.
