A film on behalf of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority in collaboration with the Israeli Film Service, presenting a variety of landscape postcards of national parks and tourist sites from the north of the country to the south. The film reveals the nature of tourism which was customary in Israel in the late 1960s, and it seems that things have always been the same: individuals and families barbecuing and vacationing in the waters of the Sahne (Gan HaShlosha) national park, strolling the alleys of Old Jaffa, visiting ancient burial caves in Beit She’arim and the ancient ARI Sepharadi synagogue in Safed and more. Through the usage of color film, we can enjoy even more the sceneric views of nature and antiquities.
