An excerpt from The Bell Doesnt Ring, a documentary produced by Histadrut and the Ministry of Integration of Immigrants.
An immigrant from India, who claims to have been a principal of a Jewish school in the subcontinent, says she was discriminated during her immigration to Israel. A clerk in one of the Israeli institutions responsible for immigration refused to serve her, since she came from India, rather than from the United States or Great Britain, she says.
