A short documentary about painter Esther Yucht.
Yucht was born in Poland in 1922, Yucht grew up in a religious family that perished in the Holocaust. She immigrated to Israel in 1936 and studied at Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium. As a nature and urban landscape artist, Yucht focused on paintings of Jerusalem, Safed, Tel Aviv, and Israeli landscapes, using colorful, romantic compositions inspired by the English school. Her works feature a lyrical, calm atmosphere with rich colors as a tribute to nature. The Holocaust and the Yom Kippur War are expressed in her art. Yocht studied with the painter Aharon Avni and at the Margoshilsky School of Painting and Tel Aviv University. Her first solo exhibition was at Gallery 220 in Tel Aviv. The film presents her works accompanied by an in-depth description of Her artistic style over the years
