The latest word in square balers and orchard pruning has reached the kibbutz, with new machines that make field work easier. And it’s not just the field that technology — the “Plason” plastic factory in Ma’agan Michael produces, with the help of new plastic injection machines, tools for use in the chicken coop, the cowshed, and the orchard. In the port of Haifa, the home port of the “Sela” shipping company’s cargo ships, the Palmach, Dror, Hachalutz, and Pal-yam anchor, and the sailors take care of, maintain, and load the ships for the next voyage.
