Lake Kishon established by the Water Division of the Jewish Agency and the Water Settlement Department was opened in a ceremony in the presence of department staff, management, and other guests. The flow of the Kishon water, which was diverted by a canal, is led to the new reservoir, which has a capacity of 350 cubic meters. From there the water flows to a pumping station, and to a supply station that provides water to the surrounding communities.
